Ubiquiti Cloud Gateway Ultra [PB01]

What is it?
The Cloud Gateway Ultra is a "Gateway Router" developed by Ubiquiti. This device has includes the following
DHCP: Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol gives out IP addresses in subnet ranges to the devices within a network
Gateway: Allows access to uplink internet and district network
RADIUS: Remote Authenticator Dial-In User Service allows usernames and passwords to be configured for WiFi oN Access Points
VPN: Virtual Private Network allows for remote access to the EHS Drama Network when devices from another location have internet access
VLAN: Virtual Networks allow routing for multiple networks
Local DNS Entries: Local Domain records allow devices to enter a website address and be redirected to a device located within the EHS Drama Network

How if functions in our network?
The Cloud Gateway Ultra is the heart and sole of our network. It routes Lighting and Internet traffic, as well as provide remote functionality. Although small, it manages 4 VLANS (1 Root, 1 Internet, 1 Lighting, 1 Audio). For information on our network, view reference links below

Troubleshooting
If the CGU is not functioning, it will cause all network dependent systems to not function.
Note: The CGU does not deal with Wireless Connections
1. Verify that the CGU has power. The screen on the front should be on and displaying information
2. Verify CAT5 and Power connections
3. Make sure no devices are VPNed in. It has been known to kill internet temporarily if outside devices are VPNed in for too long
